Beach fragments

We were supposed to be going for a big walk in the Pentlands today with friends but wee S has gone down with a nasty cold so we decided instead to go on one of our favorite strolls through Dalmeny estate instead. Stopped off at one of the beaches to show the wee man the shells, very excited, tried as with everything these days to stuff them in his mouth....

Onto South Queensferry for lunch at the Hawes inn and then a leisurely afternoon back at the house, all very chilled. Until bedtime where S serenaded us with inconsolable wailing interspersed with hacking coughs until calpol was administered and blessed peace returned.
