Magnolia

We spent the day at Coughton Court Gardens with some friends who D grew up with from his neighborhood in Sale, Manchester. There were some beautiful gardens there, including a walled garden which consisted of various enclosures. My favorite was the Cool Garden, which consisted of many different types of white flowers, which was so peaceful and calming. Sadly, I forgot to take my camera phone so couldn't capture any of that beauty.

Instead I saw this lovely, unusual Magnolia bush in bloom on the way to my sister's family church - Sutton Baptist. I love the purity and simplicity of white flowers. This one also had a pleasing aroma.
