Birds and bikes

It was a good day for both. Our ride was much windier than expected, but we had a tailwind all the way back, so really can't complain. Then I saw a tree swallow and this kestrel as I was driving home. I also saw 3 red tails today and - best of all - I drove by the nest tree and there is definitely a hawk sitting in the nest. I could not see any baby heads, so not sure how far along or how many, but I'm looking forward to finding out.
