sunny sunday

Walked to the shop and then down to the river with dad and the dogs this morning. Coquine's definitely feeling better as she disappeared off into the river the first chance she got.

Julien and Pierre came back from their rando VTT and we had a bit of lunch on the terrace. It was roasting! Dad and I had just been sitting there doing the crossword with a glass of wine beforehand :)

Pierre and I then called over to see Caroline, Paddy, and the girls. Mum, Gareth, and Linda were there too. They'd just had a big lunch and were lazing about on the terrace.

Took the goats out for a walk in the grass, caught up with Jedward the cockerel who's now a randy bugger(!), and played loads with the girls. Elizabeth was getting Pierre to teach her how to blow bubbles. They all then started trying to burst the bubble as he was blowing it...a lot of laughing ensued. They were in great form.

The girls found a perfect stage area behind the house and were doing dancing and different "simon says" type moves. We decided to put on a show for everyone but couldn't agree on an idea of what to do. Sarah wanted to do "that Spaniel flamenco dancing", Marie-Claire said she'd do French dancing, and Elizabeth wanted to do a play depicting them all taking part in a dance competition with her coming first! So funny! We settled on doing an equal, no-winners dance show and it went down a storm :)
