Rainbow's end

I was packing and doing a dozen jobs this morning before setting off on my journey to Lakeland Photographic Holidays in Braithwaite.

The fine sunny weather at home, soon broke down into heavy rain in the west, which worsened as I neared my destination. There was a warm welcome at the LPH house. Ten photographers have arrived for a 6 day workshop. Only one is a newbie and some people have been here many times before. (That must mean something.)

We were in the lecture room listening to John so intently, we did not notice the changing sky outside, until Gail came with the news of the rainbow. I love the cloud formation in this picture. The rainbow was disappearing rapidly but it was great to see it after all the rain.

Forecast for tomorrow? Yes, heavy rain for most of the day.
