Spontaneous

Loading late, it is already the next day. Where did this day go......mulling over books, maps, places to see and things to do.

Trips one and two were planned and reversed, trip three was cool - way longer with new places to explore, trip four was much, much smaller when it became known of other events and obtaining work leave but...........'spontaneous'........... sounded even better.

I love the word 'spontaneous', its rolls off the tongue and with it the weight is lifted from the shoulders and the mind becomes clear. There is a sense of adventure, discovery, excitement.....where will we go and where will we end up. We know the country will be home, we think the island will be the South Island, we know for sure the month will be May and the time, early May, maybe some autumn colour will be around and maybe not.
