Zingo

Zingo is a kids version of Bingo that was given to my daughter by her twin (friend who shares her birthday) - thanks AK! We hadn't even managed to get it out of the packet until now as I had managed to do that hiding thing to delay some of the fun and then out it in a box we forgot to open for a while...... Anyway it came out of the packaging today and my daughter is hooked. I'm not a fan of bingo (or any form of gambling) but this is a fun game for kids to help them with their picture matching, and with their recognition and reading skills. At this beginner level, two tiles are shown and you have to yell if one matches one of your cards. Later on you can reveal just the words so the child has to actually read them to play - looking forward to this.
Anyway suffice to say today we continued the tabletop weekend - my husband lost badly to my daughter at Disney PrincessMonopoly - twice...and we all came out about equal on Zingo and Kerplunk which were this afternoons choices!
