Great-Grandson Tristan

Our granddaughter Desiree, Tristan's mom, had sent us a text last Monday asking if we would/could come to Tristan's first game of the season.

Tristan lives with his father, Nick, and step-mom, Nichol near Redlands, California. I think they are doing a very good job of caring for Tristan and providing for him. I know it grieves Desiree not to have custody of her little boy, but he is being cared for wonderfully.

We were greeted with wonderful enthusism when we arrived at the game. Tristan had no idea we would be there. It was fun and rewarding to see his excitement. It was also quite interesting to see him play soccer.

We can hardly believe little Tristan had his 7th birthday this past February. He is in 1st grade and reading at a 2nd grade level.

We were so glad to be at the soccer game.
