Chicken Weekend (1)

Beck has acquired this temporary fence thing so that the Girls can go a bit more 'free range' now that they've acclimatized to things a bit. Unfortunately one of them hopped over it on it's first outing so a degree of vigilance is still clearly required! Hector is quite proprietorial with them and keeps popping out to check they're still there, patrol the perimeter, etc. I think he's finding the sudden expansion of the pack a bit of a responsibility really. Beck took this shot with her iphone - Tom and I had been out to see Forest get beaten again and I was in no mood for photography...
