autumn is here

Fitness class this morning
Visit mum early afternoon
Into the city to get some photos
But won't do that again - for quite a few weeks!!!

It is a disaster zone with so many road works and I couldn't go down the streets I had planned. So back to the river for an autumn blip ........ of a 1996 sculpture made to celebrate the 15th year of Christchurch and Seattle sister city status. I have been here many times but didn't know the reason for this stone sculpture until I read a well- worn plaque on the footpath today.
