Happy birthday to me!

I've had a lovely day off today. This morning I had a few errands to run, then I met my parents for lunch at a local cafe. After school, the girls and I took off down to Maraetai for a dip in the sea. The water temperature is cooling, but it was still bliss. There were a number of teeny 'Crimson Jelly' things in the water...a quick google told me that they were harmless, so we ended up catching them and watching them swim about in the kids buckets. We didn't keep them long, but really wanted a good look at them.

This evening, we had a delish tea, followed by my birthday cake, which my very talented husband made. OMG it was to die for!!!
