Another deddun....

Ah - time to make a coffee and relax. Town was total bedlam on my way home this evening - traffic backed up everywhere thanks to their being a race meeting on.

Not that it bothers me as I catch the bus so as the buses were also caught up in the traffic I opted to walk home. It was actually rather pleasant charging along at a rate of knots accompanied by Nickelback very loud ......

The plus side of walking home which takes a good half hour is that I'm fair boiling by the time I get in so can dive straight in the shower without feeling just how fridge like this house is (I'm too tight to put the heating on unless I really have to).

Anyway - another dead one tonight - I've had this, amongst others, for a good few months now and the one problem with Calla is that they don't dry out so that they're stiff - they remain rather pliable which makes positioning them rather tricky. My highly technical method however is to tie a bit of nylon thread around the stem and suspend it. Then switch on one of the big lights and try to catch a good angle as it twirls round. I'm amazed I got it in focus so am quite pleased.....
