Lulu

The meaning of Lulu is "Pearl" and this lady is sitting in front a collection of tabl percussion drums, which the locals (Originals as I call them) play during Leiwa, a tradition that's popular all over the Gulf. Leiwa has it's roots in African music consisting of cymbals, tabl, and the sunray combine in a lively performance complete with dancing.

The artist is making a special tabl for me, I'm looking forward to pick it up on Wednesday!
