April, brings the sun

....into our north-facing kitchen.

We have a floor-to-ceiling south-facing narrow window which brings the sun in during the middle of the day all year. But that can be very brief.

From October to March no other sunlight gets in.

But from April to September, in the early morning and the late afternoon and evening, the sun floods the room, as it does the garden.

We love this room.
