Merrivale Quarry Dartmoor.

This granite quarry finally closed in 1997 and these building are now in a advanced stage of decay. It is surprising that the building have not been demolished. Strictly I don't think you are allowed in but I do find it an interesting place. The quarry workings are not visible from the road but you can see them from the the moor when you look in from edge of the quarry. I will put some more photos on my blog later in the week.
