Nature's Canvas Bleeds

Today brought a small mountain of photo-ops, with the biggest problem choosing a single picture. Again I went with my first inspiration of the day, some startling trees against the wintery sky while many other things just didn't match up.

As well as the trees I photographed my friends, outdoor Christmas lights, swans in the dark, a different set of trees and trailing light paths from buildings I drove past. These produced mix results with the group friend proving good to add to our little project and the light paths producing a good photo too. On the other hand the swans looked like bits of cardboard floating in the pitch black.

Not so great.
