Crested China 7, Brighton, East Sussex

First day of the Easter Holidays and it's wet and I have a sore throat.... Not a lot of opportunity for outdoor pictures today. The washing machine has been out of action for over a week and the engineer arrived early today to look at it. The pump is at fault, so he ordered one on his mobile phone. He said he may well have one in the shop but hasn't got time to go there as he's snowed under with work and doesn't know when the part will arrive in the meantime. It could be later in the week, but cannot guarantee when he can do it. So it goes on.....

Anyway, this piece from the collection is the Arms of Brighton. It also includes two Dolphins which I think are very attractively drawn. Without doubt Brighton offers something for everyone, be it sea, culture, architecture, nightlife, eating out, shopping, sport and much else besides. Sometimes referred to as London on or by the sea, the epithet that if you are bored with London, you are bored with life could easily be applied to Brighton. I seem to know a lot of people who live there now and it's easy to understand why they live there. Hopefully I will pay Brighton a visit during the holiday and hope the weather improves - at least being dry!
