After the rain

Been raining on and off all day but cleared early evening, in time for the last few rays of the sun to light up THE tree.

This is my view from the kitchen window as I wash up. I love looking at this tree - a silhouette as the sun rises; sometimes still, at others branches swaying or bending in the wind; huge pigeons and sometimes crows perching on the branches; bare in winter, leaved in summer; always lovely in the evening light.

A day of paperwork...
