Wow .. a wierd and wonderful place in Barcelona...

After a silly o'clock start this morning - including 2 and a half hours on the runway at Manchester - we had our first taste of Gaudi this afternoon at the Casa Botllo. What an amazing and mad looking house ...,

Choosing a blio was a real toss up today ... it might have been the spinal feeling roof and bonkers mosaiced chimneys, or the crazy metal work of the exterior security fencing ... but no! This is a view from the central staircase/lift structure across the rear atrium. I loved the colours here and the playing with natural forms.

I wonder where we shall find ourselves tomorrow???
