WET, but dazzling if you know where to look

The only option for some bright and cheerful colour presented itself today at the boggy patch where I grow my willow pollards. I had left some cut willow for collection and had actually run out - my damp journey was rewarded with more willow and with the sight of many 'King Cups' such as this one. Marsh Marigold (Caltha palustris) grows freely there along with some irises which won't come out just yet. You'll see them soon enough.
