Derwent Water
A promising start to a not-so promising day, weather-wise. I was up early, before the rain and headed down to the Theatre by the Lake in Keswick... which is conveniently on the shores of Derwent Water.
It's a long time since I've used my Big Stopper, but it got a lot of use in the afternoon, once the rain had stopped. The morning was very wet, so we headed over to Crummock and the Laithwaite forest in the hopes of a bit of shelter. What we actually got was lots of droplets, rich colours and lots of extreme subtlety across the lake itself. The afternoon brightened up a fair bit, which meant more long exposure practice for me.
All in all, a very satisfactory day :)
