Cultural diversity

Quick stopover at Wxlmxrt today. Outside and inside beautiful body art. Three Budhas. A geisha. A Phoenix rising from a tree of life.

And a Saudi couple. I wondered if I could photograph them. He said it would be okay with him as long as it was okay with her. Several shots of them together. We chatted about my travels to South Asia and my book "with open eyes". She wondered where I would publish their photos. He wondered if there would be comments, and if they would be negative. I said I hoped not because I believe in cultural diversity. I told her that I thought she looked beautiful in her black chador. She thanked me.
