Mourning Doves in the Evening
There's frantic nesting activity all around us. The warm weather is late coming this year - the first rose has just come out and normally we see that in February. Making the most of our late evening sun were our pair of doves. They have made their next low in the branches of our Texas Oak. We'll say 'good morning' to her as she sits on batch after batch her precious eggs for the next few months. But for now, they were happy sitting peacefully in each other's company.
