The Rain Clears

It never really got light today with unrelenting lowering sky and constant rain to say nothing of the cold wind. Spring??

Blip subjects were reaching the desperation stage when about 15 minutes before sunset the front passed through producing some spectacular light over the sea. Grabbing the camera I dashed down to the Esplanade and managed to get a few images before darkness fell. Those few minutes certainly made up for such a dismal day.

Beautiful light over Cowes can be seen viewed in Large.
Why do Blip pictures look so much sharper in Large. Anyone else noticed this?
