Sorry for my absence (apologising yet again) but my dissertation is taking priority this week as I have a first draft of the first two chapters due in two weeks! I didn't want to bore you with my day yesterday as it was mainly sitting at the computer! Trying to stop Maisie eating the paper clips on my paperwork and just struggling with the first chapter. But I persevered and I think the first chapter is now done - will re-read in the moment and see how awful it is.
Today I have been set free a little bit - decided I needed some fresh air and normality so decided to do a few little jobs I needed to do before starting - went to the bottle bank, paid some bills, got a birthday present for my boss and did the food shopping. Nothing too exciting but things that needed to be done and I needed the escape! I did stop for a coffee at Costa and stupidly ordered a large one forgetting that large to them is a bucket!!! But nice all the same.
Just thinking about the sad news of Peaches Geldof death and how such a young life has been cut short, with a young family too. I was never really a fan to be honest but a life cut short like that is always sad and something to think about. Has made me think about my own little family and despite us being not the normal type family - just Neil and the cats. It's my family nonetheless and although hubby annoyed the hell out of me this morning with his alarm clock I wouldn't be without him and would be devastated if he wasn't here!
Well back to normality and time to unpack the shopping. Happy Tuesday everyone xx
