I never knew!

Following on from Miss Bs illness described yesterday she woke this morning feeling fine - Hurray! - but covered in a hot itchy red rash - Not Hurray.

Scarlet fever is going round so we made our conclusions and went off to the Drs. Here she is in the 'isolation waiting room' playing Minion Rush.

The Drs inspection of the rash and Miss Bs throat etc. resulted in antibiotics being prescribed... but for tonsillitis not scarlet fever! Who knew tonsillitis could cause a rash?! We were all very happy it wasn't what we thought it was, however, as it meant Master B could go to pre-school for the afternoon and Miss B could attend the annual school Easter egg hunt. Phew!

Still feel sorry for the poor girl though. Not a nice episode.
