A lovely day

The limpid, pellucid, blue-lagoon waters of the Fidge, looking towards the Hoy hills. Who would want to be anywhere else ?

We started 'Bagging the Bruck' today down on the beach - start of the annual campaign. We will be out for another session later this week. A bonus this year is the two bags of driftwood for the stove.

CMC's sister is arriving (from Huntly) today with some special cheesey biscuits that she makes only for me. She comes annually with her man for the Dance Fest.

Dancing last night in St Magnus Centre, Kirkwall. Ditto tonight, then dancing on Rousay on Thursday night. Going out now to attempt to start the mower and to plant more seeds in the poly tunnel.
