Route des Landes

A row of typical Guernsey cottages, in the April sunshine. Windy on my bike, actually Hatty's bike, as mine is malfunctioning! Turning the pedals has a slipping or no gripping into a gear sensation, so it seems like something is worn out. My 15 year old bicycle may need replacing, but I can't buy another one like it, not in Guernsey anyway, as nobody seems to like riding a bike like mine (big and sturdy). I saw loads of bikes like mine in Munich last Summer, amazed by how popular cycling was over there.
