Tidy hedges.
East Yorkshire farmers are obsessive about their hedges which have to be cut between November and March, after that the hedgerows have to be left for wildlife to flourish.
Farmers are also paid not to plough right up to the hedges, these 10 foots (as they are known) are also to encourage wildlife and of course wild flowers. Some farmers do not mind walkers on their ten foots but others do!
Better day today, bright and breezy also tests on C ok, he just has to do what I tell him!!
Fat chance!
