Tiny feet
We took Ivy to Clarks to have her feet measured today- because she's starting to stand up on the furniture and cruise about a little bit. In her socks she slips about, and our house is a little bit cold for bare feet. It turns out that her feet are a size 'minus 1'- Clarks don't make cruising shoes smaller than a 2 or walking shoes smaller than a 3. We also took her to buy a bicycle helmet, but again discovered they don't make anything small enough for her. Having a teeny tiny daughter does have it's down sides.
Went swimming at the time capsule with Ivy's Great Aunty Hazel this afternoon. Ivy really enjoyed being in a pool warm enough that she didn't have to have her fleece lined baby wetsuit on- she discovered the joy of splashing, but got upset when the water she splashed into her own eyes stung. We took her away from the water to comfort her and she was upset because she wanted to splash. I'm sure she'll work out to splash away from herself soon enough.
Ivy was totally exhausted by swimming and splashing, she pretty much drifted off on my shoulder in the pool before a small child splashed her and totally zonked out at her great aunt's house.
