The first non-chore task of the day was to take bags of discarded clothes down for recycling. Always some memories go with some of them.

It is very domestic down at the pond. There weren't too many ducks around and they were all male. On the island in the middle of the pond, the swans have built a magnificent nest and there was little movement from the occupant. It will be home for a while.
