Red Hackles

The Xmas shopping came to a halt here in Perth this afternoon. If just for a little while.

The streets were lined with people as the city came out in force to welcome home our local lads(and lassies) from Afghanistan.

To the strains of the pipes belting out Heilin' Laddie, the Black Watch paraded through the centre of Perth and round to the North Inch, before falling out and some well deserved home leave.

It really was quite an emotional time for many people. Me included.

Good to have them home.
