Bluebird

The memorial to Sir Donald Campbell by the side of Ullswater In 1955 his boat Bluebird broke the world water speed record by doing 202 mph on this lake.
He later held world speed records on both land and on water. He was killed on Coniston in 1967 attempting another record.
