Happy Birthday Boys!

Boys' 7th birthday today so they were up early (Max @ 4am, then sent back to bed, then up again at 5 and 5:30!)

We took them to the Glasgow Riverside Transport Museum.
The cars are arranged on shelves on a wall so they almost look like toys.
The white Talbot Sunbeam above caught my eye, partly as it was in front of an MGB GT of the same era as a green one (originally red!) I had back in the 80's and partly as my Mum had a Talbot Horizon back in the 70's.
I remember the Horizon was the first car we'd had with 5 gears!
It was awful though and broke down a lot.
I remember we seemed to go through clutches more frequently than people change light bulbs these days.
We also had to have the engine replaced, which wasn't so uncommon back then!

This afternoon the boys raided the Glasgow Lego store in the Buchanan Galleries as they had birthday money to spend.

So, we've eventually stopped building @ 10pm and they've finally succumed to tiredness and gone to bed :-)

Number of times we've had to suffer enjoyed 'Everything is Awesome' today = 12!
