Blooming....

Spring arrived here today.. the sun shone and we wandered down to the magical woods.. everything is in bud.. the ferns are uncurling, the trees budding...
The wood is alive with the sounds of the birds happy in the sunshine..

The downside of today was I had to cut the grass in my small garden... nothing unusual in that but I don't have a lawnmower so borrowed some garden shears off a neighbour and cut it with them on my hands and knees!!!!
