First carrot

I have never managed to grow anything! My daughter arrived home from school with a sunflower seedling to plant - and it inspired a gardening phase. We got more sunflower seeds, carrot seeds, poppy seeds, and er some other things.
Now many weeks later (and a few dry patches with resurrection) we have four glorious sunflowers and four carrot tops. We pulled our first carrot today and my daughter barely waited for it to be washed before devouring it!
We are off to the garden center tomorrow to get some more seeds!
