✈️✈️testing testing Terminal 2

So today I've been to Heathrow as a volunteer on a trial testing the new T2 due to open on 4 June.

Today's trial was an end to end one involving being given passenger script which you had to follow in order to follow all normal procedures through to 'boarding' a flight..

A slight hiccup in the first script when we got to the check in desks and found the computers had gone down so instead of being Vladimir Hayes going to Tokyo, Japan I became Tommy Brewster going to Denver instead!

An interesting and fun day in a kind of behind the scenes view ending with lunch, free magazine and shift as thank for taking part.

Good journey home round the M25 for a change, a couple of hours free then meeting my oldest friend for dinner and a long overdue catchup!
