A good day

It has been a good day today.

A day off work, so got a lie-in, then a visit from Molly and Barney before getting busy in the kitchen.

I made bread and muffins (almond & cranberry) - which I snapped here. Also, bacon, bean & barley soup plus soda bread...but I wasn't quick enough to snap them as Mr A and The Boy went for a bike ride this morning and came back starving, so the soup and soda bread disappeared pretty quickly!

It was also warm enough to get three loads of washing on the line.

There was even time for some relaxing kindling (started a new book yesterday) for me...
