Summer Visitors

Today's pursuit of a different type of animal took me to Holly Farm in Forton this evening.

These beautiful Alpacas are residing at the farm for the summer and do so each year. They come from Cockerham and are farmed for their wool.

They are also herd animals and apparently are happiest when they are in a 'gang'!

I think their faces are really cute as they appear to be smiling all the time.
