Snacks after school

It doesn't matter that the icing was too thin and went everywhere. Or that the biscuits were overcooked. It matters more that the Christmas mugs and plate are out, and that I've made them a snack after school.

Sometimes our own disappointment at something not being perfect has the potential to ruin what can just be a purely lovely moment. The children loved them.
