Lonely bird

This little bird was making a lovely noise, chirping and singing away, maybe calling on friends to come and join it on the wire?
Today's Shakespearean word is lonely, apparently invented by him. I thought this bird looked rather lonely.
The packing is sortakinda done, clothes organised, other bits and bobs less so, it is those bits and bobs that I find take up so much time.
Our good early start has been foiled by the car not being in a fit condition for driving though. We picked it up from the garage today, shelled out an enormous amount of dosh and within 5 minutes of driving the noise from the exhaust was worse than before. Seems that the mechanic did not have the correct clips required and knew we needed the car back for tomorrow, so did his best and said it would be fine...it wasn't. So it is back in first thing in the morning to get properly fixed now he has the correct clips for the exhaust - sigh, not sure what time we'll be able to leave.
So, I'm off to get a bit more done before bed. Tomorrow's blip should hopefully be a London blip :-)
