Year Two, Day Seventy Nine -Brae Doune Foot Bridge

After a sleepless night in the crap hotel, I had a long lie and missed breakfast which was only served between 6.45am and 7.45am - pish hotel!!! Would not recommend it to anyone!!!! Trip Advisor methinks...

Check out was 10am so I tried to dose as much as possible because I had a 4 hour journey back home after 8 hours in the car and 1 hour walking yesterday. Literally checked out at 10am!! I stopped in at a wee cafe in Dornoch before heading back to Oykel Bridge to take the last 3 shots and then heading down the road. I actually made good time despite the late start and got home at 7pm.

It was the camera club AGM tonight and really, as treasurer, I should have been there but I was too tired and had already made my apologies (sorry guys...!!) as I didn't think I'd be home as early as that!

This shot was taken this morning just before it started raining. It's in the 'Listed Building' register and is disused as you can see. It was where I took one of my panoramic shots from. It's not particularly well fenced off but I guess not many people stop here, being in the wilds and all... It was blowing a hoolie and was bobbing up and down like the Forth Road Bridge did a few years ago in the high wind storms we had - only it was bobbing up and down much faster!

Well, not a very successful trip and no doubt I will have to go back to take the shots I missed yesterday...
