Birthday
It pays to be an organised hoarder! I decided to see how far my christmas cards and wrapping paper from last year would last for us this year. We have done all the cards and a lot of the wrapping without spending any more money. Goes to show that we seriously over did it last year!
It was my little sister's Enchanted Forest themed birthday bash at the Proud Galleries, Camden, London. It's quite a trek from home but it was fun. This is a picture of the stable (Shergar!) that she had hired for the occasion. The building was an old horse hospital so it really was a stable with a rather heavy door. They did cover up the pool table that's pictured in the middle though.
My sister had booked a face painter which originally I thought was a weird idea but lots of people got their faces done including me! I will blip mine tomorrow.
We had a great time and then G and I went on to Funky Sensation at Ronnie Scotts. Unfortunately that was a bit of a disappointment considering last time we went. Not such a good selection of music (but it was a different DJ). So off on the long trek home a little earlier than usual.
Our birthdays are feathers in the broad wing of time. Jean Paul Richter
