Mirror Hanging

This was hanging from the mirror of the taxi I took between schools today. Such things are illegal in Australia and maybe other places.

I tried to get the buildings focussed in the little balls but then realised that the ornament in the middle was particularly beautiful when the sun shone through it. I have been told the writing is probably some Buddhist writing.

EDIT: Since a few people asked.. The ornament isn't illegal. It's illegal to hang stuff from a mirror in Australia. Sorry for the confusion.
