Breaking the Rules

After dinner, we usually start the bed-time routine, but it's been so nice that we've been taking a quick walk around the block. This evening, the children wanted to play outside instead of going in. I let them. They played in the sand box so long that there was no time to take a bath for either of them.

Good trade-off, I think.
