Frozen Pond

Thanks for all those who viewed, commented, favourited and rated yesterday's early morning shot of a classic Ullswater scene. I was amazed and delighted at the response.

Today, I unexpectedly found myself by this much smaller lake. So small it was frozen over. I was visiting a newly opened farm shop off the A66 and stocking up on a few special things for Christmas and New Year.

The trip was rounded off with a nice drink in a nearby pub while my trainers dried out from walking on this marshy ground.
