Hung for a sheep
Might as well be, I always say. It's Gill's birthday and here she is with her birthday present from me, an original Pat Bell. Yes that's blip's own Pat Bell who masquerades these days as Gnasher. I've been admiring her paintings for some time and the way she describes and often features her techniques in her blips, so I took the plunge with a safe figurative option although I like her abstracts too. The Swaledale Ewe here is one of a series of sheep that Pat has painted. It wasn't easy to hide it but it was a surprise for Gill this morning and she loves it. In colour. So thank you Pat. It now has pride of place on our dining room wall. And happy birthday Gill!
Yesterday's deer is still there. Gill found it without any help. I'm disappointed that no-one here has managed it. There's still time. I've extended the deadline.
