The perils of buying on line

When buying fabric, or yarn, on line getting the colour right can be tricky.

I know that!

But when someone emailed me and asked if I would make her a dress exactly like mine (we only met once on a ferry in the Ionian and are unlikely to meet again, except virtually, so no problem looking like peculiar twins!) and sent me a link to the fabric, I just ordered it.

Sadly today, as I was about to cut out the new fabric I just thought I would get out my dress and check.

Luckily I did. Maybe my virtual friend will like the pinker version but I emailed her this photo with the question, just in case!
