Sea Monster

Well on the coaching front I lost 1 and gained 4 not bad maths and a great wee squad. Today is MrsPuffs birthday and we had fish and chips from a new fish and chip shop near our place for tea tonight. 3 images form the South Island Secondary Schools Athletics, made it into the Timaru Courier our community newspaper and 1 was a large one on the front page quite pleased. I received an Email from Jesse's mum, Jesse was the first Athlete I coached, he was at high school and won the Christchurch Marathon 3 years in a row and set a course record for the Mens U21 age group. Some of you helped him with his project for his Masters Degree and I would like to thank you all who filled out the survey. This is the Email. Jesse just received his results (I have copied and pasted)

I am writing to inform you that you have passed your Master of Tourism programme with DISTINCTION. This is a fantastic effort and you should be very proud of your achievements in the programme. You were also awarded the top mark in the Research Project and we will send you through a Certificate in the post shortly.

(The University awards a Master's degree with distinction (equivalent to First Class Honours) to a candidate whose overall mark (including papers where taken) falls in the range 80 to 100 (A-, A, A+), and with credit to a student whose overall mark falls in the range 70 to 79.)

So very proud of him - thank you to all of you who helped and filled out his survey

Sandra. Tonight after my coaching clinic I even found a Sea Monster to Blip, this finishes my day better than it started where I was an Employee's representative at a disciplinary meeting this morning. Please stop by MrsPuff and wish her a Happy Birthday
