Canal View from Leiden

I was in Leiden (Netherlands) in a project meeting for three days. The weather was rainy on Wednesday and Thursday but on Friday I had a chance to walk around the town in daylight and take some pictures. Leiden is a very pretty old town not too far from Amsterdam. There are lovely narrow streets, pretty old houses, cosy restaurants, peaceful canals, loads of bikers and a couple of wind mills of course.

Unfortunately I forgot my camera in the hotel room on Thursday, when we visited the recently renovated Concert Hall in the evening after the meeting.
